I’m Dr. Nemkumar Banthia — a civil engineer, researcher, and educator committed to building sustainable infrastructure. With over 500 publications, global patents, and leadership roles across academia and industry, I lead projects that improve lives through innovation, materials science, and international collaboration.

As the Founder and CEO of IC-IMPACTS, I’ve led transformative Canada-India partnerships focused on smart cities, clean water, and resilient infrastructure. My work spans across 25+ countries, combining cutting-edge research with real-world impact — empowering communities through science, policy, and education.

His work in macro-fiber development has led to next generation family of steel and polymeric macro-fibers with three worldwide patents. These fibers are now amongst the most used by the industry.
